Help us raise £400 for our Football Kits for the 2019/2020 season!

We are the Aston SharkS and we are aiming to raise £400 to buy a new kit for our 2019/2020 season!

The Aston Sharks are Aston University's Women's Football Team. The team consists of around 30 young women, who come from all over the world, with different social and religious backgrounds. We are the current BCFA University Female Champions and the current FA People's Cup University Female Champions.

We are aiming to raise money for new kit for the new season, without it we are unable to continue playing and winning tournaments!

We are doing this because we aim to encourage young women to get into sport, whilst being socially active at the same time. This is important to us as participation in sport and physical activity not only positively impacts the physical and mental health of young women, it also reduces the possibility of young people feeling excluded.

By donating to our project you will have a direct impact on young women engaging in a social sporting activity. The Shark's are a support network for each other; we play matches together, we stay fit together and we enrich our university experience together!

If we hit our full target, all the money will go on buying kit and if we receive additional funds the money will be used to buy new equipment. This equipment will be used during training sessions and towards the hire of the pitch that we use.

Breakdown of costs:

Each separate kit costs around £45 and we need 14 sets so overall this will cost us £650.00. We are hoping you'd be able to help us raise up to half of this.
